Prefabricated temporary accommodations for Games’ Village
- Re-fostering interactions and cultural exchanges among athletes
Compared to recent major Games where hotels were used to accommodate athletes, for the upcoming 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games which will take place in Seychelles from July 28 to August 10, the Seychelles government is investing in prefabricated temporary accommodations, or container type dormitories for the Games’ Village.
The new facility, which is being built on the field adjacent to Stad Linite, will not only help in significant cost cutting for the event, but will also re-foster and encourages interaction and cultural exchange among athletes from different countries, which have been restricted in the recent past due to hotel accommodations.
