Back-to-back- titles for Red Snappers
Red Snappers are the winners of this year’s Cable & Wireless Rugby League, retaining their title won last year, following their win over Sharks in the season’s final on Saturday at Stad Popiler, pushing the latter into the runners-up spot.
Flying Foxes have ended the league third overall after defeating Black Parrots in their classification encounter, also played on Saturday at Stad Popiler.
Compared to the previous three seasons when touch rugby was being played, for the 2025 season, the Seychelles Rugby Union (SRU) introduced tag rugby which according to vice-chairman Kenneth Laurence has been well received by the players.
