Promoting inclusivity in the 2025 Seychelles elections

The right to vote is a constitutional guarantee for every Seychellois citizen who is registered as a voter in an electoral area. In line with this principle, the Electoral Commission of Seychelles has been actively engaging with the public, stakeholders, and partners to communicate the steps being taken to make the 2025 elections more inclusive.

Tactile Folder (Braille folder)

For the first time in Seychelles’ electoral history, the Electoral Commission of Seychelles (ECS), in its efforts for inclusivity, has made recommendations for the introduction of braille tactile folders at polling stations. This tool will empower blind and visually impaired voters to cast their ballots independently, and with dignity.
