Inspiring the next generation: SKA Girls on Track takes the spotlight

A weekend of learning, empowerment, and breaking barriers unfolded at Champions Park Raceway as the Seychelles Karting Association delivered two impactful days under its national youth development and gender inclusion programmes.

Saturday June 14 – Academy Juniors and Girls on track training

Saturday saw another successful training session for the Academy Juniors and SKA Girls on Track, with organisers pleased by the steady progress made by the young drivers. All participants passed their initial flag test, a foundational part of their motorsport education. The session also focused on mastering key driving concepts such as racing lines, braking points, and acceleration zones – laying the groundwork for consistent and confident performance.

Looking ahead, the next session will introduce race start procedures, bringing the group even closer to participating in official time trials as they build towards competitive readiness.
