INTERPOL AFJOC summit in Seychelles sets sights on stronger regional cybercrime response

A four-day meeting between the International Criminal Police Organisation, INTERPOL and key stakeholders have converged in Seychelles in order to discuss the Africa CyberTraits Assessment Report 2025 driven by the Africa Joint Operations Against Cybercrime initiative (AFJOC).
Speaking to Seychelles NATION after the opening ceremony and the first meeting held yesterday morning at the Savoy Resort and Spa, head of INTERPOL Africa Cybercrime Operations Desk, Isah Mohammed, described the gathering as a vital platform for “planned action” in the fight against digital crime.
