Wave of talent as several young swimmers make impressive debuts
For the first time, since their inaugural participation at the Winter National Championships in 2017, the Mahé Skimmers Sports Club made its biggest medal harvest ever at this year’s recently held event which took place at the sports complex of Côte d’Or in Mauritius between June 19-22.
In total, the club garnered 108 medals, including 46 gold, 34 silver and 28 bronze in different age groups, and also overall performances, compared to only 41 last year.
At this year’s competition, the Mahé Skimmers Sports Club (MSSC), under the guidance of head coach Barnsley Albert and assistant Randy Landry, made a wave of talent, with several young swimmers making impressive debuts.
