Police officers leave for Rwanda

Nine police officers have embarked on an exciting new journey, leaving Seychelles yesterday afternoon to participate in a one-year Cadet Course in Rwanda.

This initiative follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on June 28, 2023, between the Seychelles Police Force and the Rwanda National Police, marking a significant collaborative step toward enhancing policing capabilities.

This is the first time the Seychelles Police Force will take part in this programme, which presents a valuable opportunity for skill development and international cooperation.

Before their departure, Commissioner of Police Ted Barbe visited the officers, offering his encouragement and extending best wishes for their success as they begin this transformative experience.
