- Hats off to the athletes
As the curtains fell on the 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games, it is safe to say that, as the host country, Seychelles faced a series of organisational challenges, particularly within the Games secretariat, which coordinated the event.
While the Games featured spirited athletic performances and showcased the talent of young athletes from across the region, the behind-the-scenes execution revealed significant gaps in experience, which in turn affected the flow of the event.
