Potential candidates make security deposits
The Electoral Commission of Seychelles has confirmed that eleven potential presidential candidates for the September 2025 elections have made the security deposit required prior to nomination day on Tuesday August 19, 2025.
They are Patrick Herminie (United Seychelles), Maarco Francis (Seychelles United Movement), Wavel Ramkalawan (Linyon Demokratik Seselwa), Alain St Ange (Lalyans Nouvo Sesel), Kisna Louise (Independent Candidate), Vincent Padayachy (Laliberte), Robert Moumou (Seychelles People’s National Movement), Regis Francourt (Independent Candidate), Ralph Volcère (Independent Candidate), Marco Kastner (Independent Candidate) and Charles De Clarisse (Independent Candidate).
