Baie Ste Anne stadium to temporarily host matches, pending renovation work on Stad Amitié

The Baie Ste Anne stadium on Praslin will temporarily host the national league matches while major renovation work is being carried out on Stad Amitié, including resurfacing, along with overhauling of the logistic infrastructure, including changing rooms, offices and fencing.

This was announced by the Seychelles Football Federation on Wednesday during a press conference held at Maison Football, Roche Caïman, where chief executive of the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) Denis Rose, along with executive committee member Wilson Nancy – who is also in charge of the SFF’s Infrastructure Committee – gave details of the ongoing work by the sport’s local governing body to align with the international norms set by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa).

It is worth noting that as the game of football evolves, in all aspects, Fifa has introduced comprehensive infrastructure guidelines aimed at transforming how football stadiums are planned, built, and operated across the globe.
