17 Elite Fifa referees complete pre-season training

Seventeen elite Seychelles Football Federation Fédération internationale de Football Association referees have successfully completed a one-week Member Association (MA) Referees Course in preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 football season.

The training, which combined both physical and technical components, was officially closed yesterday by vice-president of the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) Dolor Ernesta, in the presence of chief executive Denis Rose, and the SFF executive committee members.

The training was being facilitated by Fifa instructors Maroua Hannachi from Tunisia (physical) and Seychellois Jason Damoo (technical).

The Fifa Member Association (MA) Referees Course is a flagship programme designed to raise the standards of football officiating in Fifa's 211-member nations.
