Squad named ahead of Gabon, Kenya clashes
Head coach Ralph Jean-Louis has named his 23-man squad for the upcoming two international matches, precisely against Gabon and Kenya, counting for the African qualifiers for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) World Cup 2026.
The team will leave the country tomorrow, Mauritius-bound, where they will play against Gabon of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Côte d'Or National Sports Complex in Mauritius, before moving to Kenya, where they will play the Harambee Stars on September 9 at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi.
Seychelles’ other matches of the campaign will be on October 10 against Ivory Coast, and on October 14 against Gambia.
Both matches will be played at the Côte d'Or National Sports Complex in Mauritius, due to the fact that Stad Linite is not up to the Fifa required standard to host international matches.
