Fire destroys nearby store

A fire yesterday destroyed a store located near the La Bastille building, which previously accommodated the Seychelles National Archives.

The heritage site, overseen by the Seychelles National Heritage Resource Council, has remained unoccupied for some time. The store, situated just a few feet from the La Bastille building, used to contain equipment and artifacts associated with the building.
