Seychelles hosts regional learning exchange in protected-area management |06 September 2025

Seychelles is currently hosting a 10-day regional peer learning exchange on Curieuse and other sites, bringing together specialists in protected-area management from across the western Indian Ocean.

The programme is themed ‘Strengthening marine protected areas in the western Indian Ocean region, through sustainable financing and innovative management tools.’ It aims to advance knowledge transfer, capacity building, and regional collaboration in marine protected area management and sustainable financing.
