Honda Cadets on track
The Seychelles Karting National Championship, proudly sponsored by CSA Trading Ltd, roared back into action on Saturday September 6, with the Honda Cadets taking to the track for Round 7.
With championship leader Joshua Cosgrow absent, the battle for victory was wide open between Nathan Nicette and Noah Moulinie, both eager to seize the opportunity. This round also marked an important milestone for the sport in Seychelles, as the Seychelles Karting Association (SKA) introduced an official weighbridge system for the first time. From now on, all drivers are required to undergo post-race weighing in parc fermé, in line with international FIA standards. It is worth noting that since December 2024, SKA has been recognised as the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile’s (FIA) ASN, making it the sole authority in Seychelles entrusted with upholding safety standards and ensuring fair play across all motorsport events.
