Seychelles National Library hosts first Spelling Bee competition |11 September 2025

Brendon Morel is the grand winner of the first Spelling Bee competition organised by the Seychelles National Library to commemorate Literacy Day on September 8.
The twelve-year-old hailing from Beau Vallon secondary school won the final fourth round tie-break based on correct spelling and timing, over four other opponents by spelling the word ubiquitous correctly and timely in 5 seconds to claim 54 points and overall winner.
