Arid urges institutions and government to uphold democratic values and respect for human rights

On the occasion of the International Day of Democracy today, September 15, the Association for Rights, Information and Democracy is calling on democratic institutions and government to uphold democratic values and respect for human rights.

“The Association for Rights, Information and Democracy (Arid) is making a strong appeal to the government, including to those leading our democratic institutions in Seychelles, to reinforce good governance and accountability in our country. This is vital in upholding rights and civil liberties of our citizens,” Arid says in a press release.
