US and LDS name proportionately elected members

The two main political parties in Seychelles – United Seychelles and Linyon Demokratik Seselwa – have officially nominated their proportionately elected members for the eighth National Assembly, following last month’s general elections.

For the new assembly, United Seychelles (US) has nominated Johan Loze, Gerry Sopha, Wilbert Herminie and Azarel Ernesta. Both Mr Loze and Mr Herminie previously served in the seventh assembly, while Mr Sopha and Ms Ernesta are newcomers. Messrs Loze and Herminie bring experience from the previous assembly, while Gerry Sopha and Azarel Ernesta will be bringing fresh perspectives.
