Vice President Sebastien Pillay is sworn in

Sebastien Pillay took both the oath of allegiance and the vice-presidential oath at State House yesterday morning to officially become the sixth and youngest Vice-President of Seychelles at 47.
Newly-elected President, Dr Patrick Herminie, who was inaugurated into office on Sunday afternoon, First Lady Veronique Herminie, Second Lady Lina Pillay were in attendance, along with former President Danny Faure, Chief Justice Rony Govinden, Acting President of the Court of Appeal Justice Fiona Robinson, Attorney General Vinsent Perera, Commissioner of Police Ted Barbe and chief of the Seychelles People's Defence Forces, Bridagier Michael Rosette.
