A minor error such as missing bars in the overprint can make a common stamp a valuable rarity
The history of the Seychelles postal service was the theme of a superbly illustrated talk held at the National History Museum on Wednesday October 29.
Delivered by visiting speaker and expert Julian Luke, the talk, titled ‘Putting Seychelles on the map,’ provided the enthusiastic audience with a unique opportunity to view a selection of rare items from the earliest days of the post office in the 1860s, to date.
