SPS intensifies search following 24-hour ultimatum

The Seychelles prison service and the Seychelles police are informing the public that the 24-hour ultimatum issued to escaped inmate Jefferson Marie has expired.

Despite repeated calls for him to surrender, Marie remains at large. In a press release issued yesterday, the Seychelles prison service (SPS) confirmed that its joint operation with the police has now entered an intensified phase, with expanded search efforts across Mahé and other key locations.
