Surpluses surge amid revenue boosts, but dead winds persist

On Tuesday this week, the Minister for Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment, Pierre Laporte, reported a strong mid-year budget performance in the first half of 2025, with higher tax revenues and better than expected fiscal results, although challenges remain in some areas.
