Seychellois students at Sunway University win double honours
The Sunway Seychelles Society has secured two major accolades at the 2025 Student LIFE Awards, strengthening the presence of Seychellois students within the Sunway University community in Malaysia.
The group won the Rising Star Club and Global Engagement Excellence awards under the event’s Club & Society Awards, marking a significant achievement in its first year of existence.
The ceremony took place on November 24, 2025, where Society president Sheena Labonte, accompanied by treasurer Anicka Louis and external relations officer Anissa Lozaique, represented the group. Although no physical trophies or plaques were issued, the representatives took photographs on stage with the awards’ board to mark the occasion.
