Community, Leisure and Sports for All: Stay Young |11 December 2025

Stay Young’ 2025 calendar ends with joyful senior citizens’ celebration
An impressive turnout marked the Senior Citizens’ ‘Stay Young’ Christmas Exercise Gift Programme, which officially closed the Stay Young 2025 calendar. Senior citizens from nearly all districts, including Praslin and La Digue, gathered on Beau Vallon beach on 2 December for a morning dedicated to health, movement and festive cheer.
The event, now a cherished annual tradition, encourages older adults to remain active, socially engaged, and connected to their communities. Staff from the Ministry of Health were also present and warmly welcomed by residents of the North East Point Regional Home.
The programme was organised by the Community, Leisure and Sports for All unit within the National Sports Council (NSC), which plays a leading role in promoting inclusive and accessible physical activities across Seychelles.
