From theory to practice: Kids learn the art of fishing

Ten children from the Anse Aux Pins district were given a rare and exciting opportunity over the weekend – to step into the shoes of traditional Seychellois fishers and experience hands‑on fundamental fishing techniques.

The activity, organised by the Anse Aux Pins Fishers Association, was carefully designed for children with the aim of sparking curiosity and nurturing a lasting interest in the fisheries sector.
