Premier League returns with a statement victory as title race intensifies

•          PTL Bazar Brothers shock leaders Foresters to move into second place

The Absa Premier League resumed in emphatic fashion on Thursday evening at Stad Linite, as leaders Foresters were brought back down to earth by an impressive PTL Bazar Brothers side, who claimed a deserved 3-1 victory to move within touching distance of the summit.

Following the festive break, there were expectations that Foresters would reassert their authority at the top of the table, but instead it was PTL Bazar Brothers, under coach Clovis Raheriniaina, who dictated proceedings from the outset.
