The Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, Veronique Laporte, held a productive meeting on Thursday morning with the newly appointed Egyptian ambassador to Seychelles, Hatem Yousri Hosni, at the ministry’s headquarters at Botanical House.

Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in air and maritime connectivity, as well as capacity building. Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening ties between Seychelles and Egypt to boost travel, tourism, and trade.
