Landmark SCCI-ICC trade MoU signed in Mumbai
On Saturday February 7, the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indian Chamber of Commerce exchanged a memorandum of understanding, marking a significant step toward strengthening private-sector cooperation between the two countries.
President Patrick Herminie witnessed the exchange that took place on the sidelines of the India-Seychelles Business Roundtable held in Mumbai (see story on page 1).
Speaking after the signing, Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) secretary general Iouanna Pillay said the agreement reflects the growing momentum in India–Seychelles trade relations and the shared commitment of both chambers to deepen commercial engagement through structured collaboration, business facilitation, and capacity building.
