God turnout for first community fitness initiative ‘Every Step Counts’

A number of people took part in the first community fitness initiative ‘Every Step Counts’ organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Roche Caïman fitness trail yesterday afternoon.

Spearheaded by Youth and Sports Minister Kalsey Belle, the initiative aims to encourage healthier lifestyles and strengthen community engagement through regular physical activity.  The twice-weekly sessions to be held every Tuesday and Thursday at the Roche Caïman fitness trail, are open to people of all ages and fitness levels. Those taking part are invited to complete two rounds of the trail each session – walking or running at their own pace. The focus is on participation, consistency, and building positive habits rather than competition.
