FiTI Report 2025 handed over as Seychelles strengthens transparency in fisheries sector

The 6th Annual Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI) Report was officially presented yesterday to the Minister for Fisheries, Agriculture and Blue Economy, Wallace Cosgrow, during a ceremony at Maison Collet.

Outgoing National Multi-Stakeholder Group (NMSG) chairperson Philippe Michaud handed over the document, which provides a detailed assessment of Seychelles’ progress in making fisheries data publicly accessible.

The report underscores the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance in marine resource management.
