Marine Spatial Plan Unit leads multi-agency visit to remote MPAs in Farquhar and Alphonse

In preparation for the implementation of the Seychelles Marine Spatial Plan (SMSP), representatives from several key agencies undertook a three-day field mission to Farquhar Atoll and the Alphonse Group of islands.

The visit aimed to strengthen understanding of large and remote marine protected areas (MPAs) and build capacity for effective coordination and implementation of the SMSP.
