Cabinet approves a number of legal and policy memoranda

President Patrick Herminie chaired a scheduled meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday, February 18, during which a number of legal and policy memoranda were approved.

Cabinet approved the National Awards (Repeal) Bill, 2026, which proposes to repeal the National Awards Act, 2022 (Act 11 of 2022) while preserving the validity of any national awards already conferred under that Act.
