PTL Bazar Brothers eliminate champs Foresters
- LightStars dispatch Bel Air, St Louis beat Muccia
A new name will be engraved on the Seychelles Football Federation Cup this season after defending champions Foresters were knocked out in the round of 16 by PTL Bazar Brothers in an exciting encounter at Stad Linite last Friday.
Pointe Larue-based PTL Bazar Brothers have now joined Côte d’Or, LightStars, St Louis and Rovers in the quarterfinals.
In a match played at Stad Amitié in Praslin on Saturday, Côte d’Or eliminated St Michel 4-2 on penalties after both teams were level 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes of play.
