The Development Bank of Seychelles can now start procedures to write off prescribed loans under the Small Business Finance Agency portfolio it administers as announced by President Patrick Herminie in his State of the Nation Address late last month.

The Development Bank of Seychelles (DBS) was notified yesterday by the Minister for Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment, Pierre Laporte, who is the sole person mandated under the Public Finance Management Act to issue such a notification.
