Consultative meeting held on road motorsport activities in Seychelles

In line with reviewing and having a better understanding of sport activities on the road in Seychelles, Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation Minister Veronique Laporte, and Youth and Sports Minister Kalsey Belle, met with representatives of the SKA/Autosport Seychelles, Liza René-Cosgrow and Dave René last week, as part of the ministers’ ongoing consultations with stakeholders.
The SKA/Autosport Seychelles is the only recognised association under the National Sports Council (NSC), but the ministers will also be meeting with other sports associations, in the coming weeks to further strengthen collaboration on matters relating to transport and sports activities in Seychelles.
Also in attendance were representatives from the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation; Ministry of Youth and Sports; Ministry of Health; Seychelles Police Force; Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency; Seychelles Land Transport Agency (SLTA); and National Sports Council.
