Seychelles strengthens regional preparedness, calls for dialogue
The government of Seychelles is closely monitoring the evolving security situation involving the Islamic Republic of Iran, the State of Israel, and the United States with grave concern. Building on the statement issued by the Office of the President on March 1, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora has intensified measures to safeguard Seychellois nationals in the affected region.
While Seychelles continues to call for immediate de-escalation and maximum restraint, the government notes recent signals of possible diplomatic engagement and urges all parties to seize this opportunity to prevent further loss of life and regional instability.
