Cabinet charts bold course with marine agency, new fisheries pact, and policy overhauls

The Cabinet, chaired by President Patrick Herminie, on Wednesday approved several legal and policy memoranda spanning fisheries, environmental management, public services, and social protection. Vice-President Sebastien Pillay yesterday briefed the media on these decisions. He was accompanied by Margaret Moumou, secretary of state for Cabinet Affairs and Civil Service.
