National Gallery launches first virtual exhibition celebrating women in art

 

For the first time, the National Gallery of Seychelles has brought its exhibition space into the digital realm with the launch of a virtual exhibition dedicated entirely to women artists, in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

The official launch took place on March 6, unveiling a website that features 18 women artists and 28 artworks. The participating artists include Zoe Chong-Seng, Omera Mathieu, Valerie Lesperance, Claudia Hoareau, Kaela Eden, Chloë Mondon, Sheijina Reinhart, Lynn Tirant, Loua Paunikar, Abigail Dick, Marie-Mai Marie, Anna-Lisa Molle, Metabiel Henriette, Esther D’offay, Aysha Kuttiyil, Shanelha Onezime, Nikita Hoareau, and Michaella William.
