Seychelles shares youth jobs approach in Africa exchange
Seychelles reinforced its commitment to continental youth employment strategies as Minister for Youth and Sports, Kalsey Belle, led a delegation to the World Bank’s ‘Jobs for Youth in Africa Knowledge Exchange’ held in Nairobi, Kenya, from March 3 to 5, 2026. She was accompanied by Michel Pierre, chief executive of the Seychelles National Youth Council.
The three-day forum brought together policymakers, development partners, and practitioners from across Africa to share experiences and strengthen collaboration on job creation initiatives under the ‘Jobs for Youth in Africa Community of Practice’, which promotes peer learning and scalable solutions to youth unemployment.
