Extension of 13th month pay support application
Following an identified requirement for continuation of the 13th month pay assistance, the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment has announced that it is reopening the 13th month pay assistance scheme with effect from March 16, 2026 to March 31, 2026.
Businesses are urged to submit their applications before this deadline, and are reminded that only applications submitted via the portal will be accepted. Applicants are advised to access the portal via the following link https://mof.egov.sc/m13supportprogram and to make reference to the FAQs for further clarifications.
“Businesses are advised that they should have adhered to their legal obligation and paid the 13th month pay to their employees by January 31, 2026, irrespective of whether or not they were eligible and/or have received payments under the scheme,” stated a press communique issued by the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment on Wednesday.
