Young entrepreneurs to benefit from vermiponics training |11 April 2026
A two-day vermiponics training of trainers workshop will be held at the Dan Sours-agro forestry site in Baie Lazare next week, bringing together youth entrepreneurs and agricultural practitioners to learn innovative approaches to sustainable food production.
The workshop will be held from April 16-17 starting from 9am to 3pm.
Speaking to Seychelles NATION, the chairperson of the Baie Lazare Watershed Committee Johan Mèndez said this training will be the first of this kind in the country and hopefully it will pave the way to a strong food security and sovereignty where we can produce most of our food organically.
