Primary school athletes from Mahé take part in heats
Athletes from primary schools around Mahé gathered at Stad Linite yesterday to take part in the schools’ athletic heats ahead of the finals of the 46th National Inter-School Athletics Championships, the major annual sporting event that brings together young athletes from across the country to compete in track and field disciplines.
With the 46th National Inter-School Athletics Championships scheduled for June 20, 2026, the young athletes from both state and private schools competed in 22 heats across four age divisions: under-8, under-10, under-12, and under-14.
