Focus on sustainability, economic gains, and community impact

A one-day validation workshop of the Seychelles Cruise Tourism Strategy (2026-2030) was organised by then tourism department yesterday morning at the Savoy Resort & Spa, marking the final stage of the strategy development process, ahead of its finalisation and adoption.
The workshop presented the updated strategy incorporating stakeholder inputs from previous consultations, while validating the strategic pillars, policy options and priority actions aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of cruise tourism in Seychelles. It also sought to ensure alignment with national priorities, community expectations, and evidence-based analysis, including findings from the cost-benefit analysis and earlier scoping missions.
