President Herminie starts Moscow visit

The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Dr Patrick Herminie, has arrived in Moscow on the first leg of an official visit that will also include Abu Dhabi.

He landed at Domodedovo International Airport late on Sunday evening, where he was warmly received by Russian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs George Borisenko; members of the diplomatic corps, including the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Seychelles, Artem Kozhin; Seychelles’ Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, Barry Faure; Deputy Director of the Department for States of Africa, Aleksey Sentebov; and Deputy Chief Protocol Officer from the State Protocol, Andrey Milyaev.

This visit underscores Seychelles’ continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing its international engagement in the national interest.
