Seychellois dancer gains regional recognition and professional growth through ORITA programme

Renowned Seychellois dancer and choreographer, Denis Rose, continues to elevate Seychelles’ presence on the international dance stage following his participation in the ORITA 2nd Generation Programme, held in Mauritius from April 1 to 11, 2026.

Representing Seychelles alongside two emerging male dancers from Emergency Crew Dance Academy – Jheelal Choisy and Rahim Denousse – Denis was selected among the region’s most promising talents for this prestigious initiative. ORITA brings together the top three dancers from each participating country across the Indian Ocean region – including Seychelles, Mauritius, Réunion, Madagascar, Comoros, Mayotte, Rodrigues, and Mozambique – creating a dynamic platform for cultural exchange and artistic excellence.
