Did you know Seychelles has 47 declared national monuments? These landmarks embody centuries of history, culture, and architecture, reflecting African, European, and Asian influences that shaped the islands. Together, they form a living archive of the nation’s past.
The Seychelles National Heritage Resource Council (SNHRC) oversees the care and protection of these sites. A dedicated Conservation and Restoration Unit ensures authenticity and integrity, blending traditional knowledge with established practices.
