Arsu Ladies ranked 11th, Al Ahly clinch record 11th title
Arsu Ladies have finished in 11th position out of 18 teams in the just-ended 11th Confederation of African Volleyball Women African Clubs Championship won by Al Ahly of host country Egypt.
Runners-up to Tampon Gecko Volley in the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Zone 7 Club Championship played here earlier in the year, Arsu Ladies, coached by Ricky Vel, lost their first group D match against Cameroon’s Litto (LTV) on a 0-3 (17-25, 13-25, 10-25) score.
