Eastern region, next stop in Minister Kalsey Belle’s familiarisation visits |16 May 2026

Minister Belle is welcomed at Cascade by MNA Phillip Monthy

Yesterday, Youth and Sports Minister Kalsey Belle continued her familiarisation visits to sports facilities across the districts with a tour of the Mahe’s eastern region, comprising Anse Aux Pins, Pointe Larue, and Cascade.

During the visit, Minister Belle, accompanied by senior project officer within the National Sports Council, Aldo Rose, toured a number of sporting infrastructures and met with district authorities and community representatives to gain a better understanding of the current condition of the facilities and the challenges affecting the sporting sector within the region.

She was welcomed in each district by their respective member of the National Assembly (MNA) – Sandra Sultan for Anse Aux Pins, Conrad Gabriel for Pointe Larue, and Phillip Monthy for Cascade.
