SAA and Ramp Up Rise Up drive inclusivity
In late 2023, the chief executives of the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) and Air Seychelles took up the ‘Ramp Up Rise Up Accessibility’ challenge – an initiative aimed at highlighting the everyday challenges faced by persons with mobility impairments and encouraging key stakeholders to recognise their social responsibility in
improving accessibility and inclusivity.
Yesterday, Wednesday, May 20, the founder of Ramp Up Rise Up (RuRu), Christine Winslow, returned to the Seychelles International Airport alongside her son, Jason, who is a wheelchair user. Their visit followed ongoing consultations and collaboration with the Seychelles Airports Authority (SAA) and other key stakeholders committed to enhancing accessibility within the airport environment.
