ISS celebrates Africa Day
International School Seychelles (ISS) yesterday celebrated Africa Day with pride, colour, and a strong sense of community spirit.
As a school based in Seychelles, ISS recognised the importance of honouring the richness, diversity, and cultural heritage of the African continent. Africa Day provided an opportunity for students and staff to reflect on and celebrate the traditions, identities, and values that unite communities across Africa and within Seychelles itself.
Students and staff marked the occasion by coming to school dressed in vibrant and beautiful African attire. The campus was filled with colourful fabrics, traditional garments, and cultural expressions that reflected the diversity and beauty of African cultures. The celebration created a warm and inclusive atmosphere throughout the school, bringing the community together in appreciation of cultural identity, unity, and belonging.
